Our Aromatherapy training course is intended for those who wish to gain a recognised professional Irish qualification in an internationally recognised qualification (ITEC) in order to practice in Ireland and the world as a professional Aromatherapists.

Upon successful completion of the course, you will carry the internationally recognized ITEC Aromatherapy qualification which enables you to carry out a full or practical body Aromatherapy massage and to work as an Aromatherapist. 

COURSE DETAILS

The course covers Aromatherapy and the holistic field in-depth, together with personal development to enable you to work as a professional Aromatherapist and Aromatherapy Massage Therapist. Business and marketing skills are also included so you can become fully equipped to earn a living within the Holistic Health Field. The aim of this course is to train you to a very high level.

The Course Covers the following:

• History of Aromatherapy

• Study of Pure Essential oils to include: properties of each oil

• Source and extraction of each oil/Chemical Composition of each oil

• Blending of oils – creating oils for specific conditions

• Contraindications and considerations in the use of Aromatherapy

• Benefits of each oil and blended oils

• Common ailments and contraindications and how to treat with Essential Oils

• Client Care regarding Aromatherapy

• Learning the various carrier oils

• Suitable & appropriate Aftercare advise

• Treating common health conditions with Aromatherapy

• Safely blending and using essential oils & carrier oils

• Possible Reactions of Aromatherapy Treatments

• Suitable aftercare advise when using Aromatherapy for clients

• Other methods of using Essential Oils – oil burners, baths, candles, smell etc.

• Meditation at each class to connect you with the spiritual energy of the oils

• Working energetically & intuitively with essential oils

• Various ways of applying the essential oils through other therapies

THE QUALIFICATION IS SUITABLE FOR

You are welcome to take the Diploma for your own interests with no previous experience.

We also recommend that students do extra hours home study.
