University Foundaton Programme with English
Students who choose to take one academic year of English language can simultaneously take an MIC Foundation course, which is a preparation for university. This programme offers an introduction to a selection of Liberal Arts subjects (e.g. Mathematics, English Literature, History, Philosophy, and Theology) and development of academic writing skills. Students who achieve a merit in this one-year programme will gain direct entry to the BA Liberal Arts programme at Mary Immaculate College.

MIC English Language School offers high quality English language programmes that support non-native English speakers, both academically and culturally, with programmes tailored to suit the academic needs of individual learners.

The teaching staff at MIC English Language School is extremely highly qualified with many years’ teaching experience at third level. Class numbers are kept low to facilitate individual attention to all students.
