Outline
The aim of the training
The aim of this course is to increase the understanding of how reablement impacts care practice, as operational staff begin to provide packages.
The learning outcomes
Those who attend the course will be able to:
1. How does reablement work
2. The effects of person centred reablement on regaining independence
3. How to support individuals to learn or re?learn, to improve and to recover their abilities
4. Identify the journey from referral and through the process of reablement
5. Roles and responsibilities of all service staff
6. Awareness of the potential for evidence-based risk taking and how it should be managed
Speaker/s
Over the years George has managed and successfully marketed his own businesses. He has now passes the skills he has learnt to owners and managers of social care settings. George is often a guest speaker at conferences and seminars explaining how to fill care home beds and promote homes successfully.
He is a published author of many books. His latest book The Guide to Filling Care Home Beds is due for publication December 2011.
