The Advanced Diploma in Hotel Management aims to provide an understanding of the managerial, decision making and leadership aspects of the international hotel industry. In addition it is also designed to develop independent research and study skills which will be required when working at senior managerial level in the industry.
COURSE DURATION* 15 hours per week.
*Course duration is dependant on successful completion of all Course Modules, and may be delivered over 2 years, at 15 hours per week, over 3 days per week (which is the requirement for International students), in order to achieve the Award to which the Course
leads.
Entry Requirements
Candidates must have attained one of the following entryrequirements:
• Completion of Diploma in Hotel / Hospitality Manage Course, Level 6
• Relevant Work Experience in the Hospitality sector
• Other recognised qualifications of approved overseas Institutions
Assessment
Each unit at the Diploma level is assessed by a two and a half hour examination, unless otherwise stated in the examination
timetable.The examinations are held three times per year in January, June and September, and set and marked by CTH.
