All First aid offer operator training which is required under legislation.This abrasive wheels training course is legally required for all those who are involved in the purchase & selection, storage & handling, mounting, dressing and use of abrasive wheels. This includes either fixed (e.g. Bench grinders or polishers) or portable (e.g. angle grinders) abrasive wheels.This course is designed to instruct employees in the theory and practice of safe use of Abrasive Wheels to comply with the “Abrasive Wheels Regulations 1982” (SI 30 / 1982).

 

Abrasive Wheels Training Course ObjectivesOn completion of this training participants will be able to:- 
  • Safely store and identify abrasive wheels
  • Be able to select the appropriate wheel use
  • Be able to inspect and recognise damaged wheels
  • Be able to mount an abrasive wheel
  • Understand the hazards and risks when using abrasive wheels

Target AudienceThe course is intended for fitters and operators who use abrasive wheels, as defined in legislation.

Assessment.
Assessment is by a theory and practical test.

Certification.
All First Aid ‘Abrasive wheel certificate’ is awarded to participants on successful completion of course. 

Certification is valid for three years.

All First Aid Training is a specialist training organisation offering a variety of courses in First Aid instruction to organisations, businesses, groups (clubs,creches,playscools,mother toddler groups)  and individuals across Munster. We also provide Manual handling and Baby Massage, specialising in Paediatric First Aid in the greater Cork area.

These courses are designed to provide clear, practical and easy to understand instruction at all levels, from Basic to Advanced. The training can be provided in a company training facility or at public venues and all courses are fully insured and certified.

Founder Colette Moynihan and her team of qualified and experienced professionals have many years of front line experience in the design, structure and provision of First Aid and Manual Handling training courses. All first Aid Training is a PHECC Recognised Training Centre.

The company was established in 2008 in response to an awareness in the  lack of organised professional courses relating to Paediatric First Aid training in Munster.
