ACTING for CAMERA – London Workshop with SHIMMY MARCUS

Is your training mainly theatre based?  Have you some screen acting experience but are looking to take it to the next level?  Award-winning director, Shimmy Marcus, will lead you through this unique session to improve your screen acting technique. Using the most advanced methods taught at Bow Street Academy for Screen Acting devised by Gerry Grennell, this intensive 2 Day workshop will give Actors an in-depth insight into the following topics:

* Managing the Fear of the Camera

* Creating Character

* Managing the Self Critic

* Ownership and Finding Truthful Moments

* Habit

* Advanced Audition Technique

This workshop is ideally suited to those actors with some Screen Acting experience or those with Theatre experience looking to break into screen acting.

Shimmy Marcus is a multi award winning filmmaker. He is Artistic Director at Bow Street Academy for Screen Acting which he established with International Acting Coach Gerry Grennell and is a co-founder of the Screen Directors Guild of Ireland.
