The Verifier/IQA is at the heart of the quality assurance of competency based qualifications, both on behalf of the awarding body and within the quality and management systems of any training centre. The IQA will need to be able to ensure the validity of all assessment evidence, liaise with the college staff and the awarding bodies External Quality Assurer regarding controls and regulations for assessments.
