Details
Safe Pass is a mandatory construction safety training course certified by SOLAS (formerly FAS) that gives participants the correct safety training and supported documentation to allow them to work on building sites and in other premises where building or other maintenance is taking place.
Construction workers must have a good working knowledge of health and safety so that they and others are not at risk of being injured.
The SOLAS Safe Pass is a mandatory qualification and all workers in the construction sector must have received Safe Pass safety awareness training and be in possession of a Safe Pass card before they can work on construction sites.
Good knowledge of the English language is required, for example talking (verbal), reading and writing. Anyone turning up without these skills will be turned away from the course.
