Here at Atlas Language School Dublin, we offer full-time IELTS preparation courses for students wishing to further their English language skills to succeed in the IELTS examination. IELTS stands for International English Language Testing System. It measures a student’s level of English and is accepted by colleges and English-speaking universities all around the world.
We offer both a full-time IETLS preparation course and a combined course of General English in the mornings and additional IELTS preparation classes in the afternoons:

The IELTS test has 4 modules: Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking, all of which are comprehensively covered within our full time IELTS preparation courses. The test is scored from 0 (did not attempt the test) up to 9 (expert user). The score at which universities in Ireland and the UK accept students varies, but as a rough guide, students may be accepted with a score of 5.5 (minimum) for undergraduate degree studies and 6.5 to 7.0 for postgraduate studies.
In the exam the 4 papers are divided into different parts:
Listening – Four sections with 40 questions. (30 minutes)
Reading – Three long texts with 40 questions. (60 minutes)
Writing – Two tasks. (60 minutes)
Speaking – Three parts. (Time 11 to 14 minutes)
We offer IELTS preparation courses all year-round. The courses are designed to improve the language and the skills you need to improve your IELTS band score. Because our IELTS preparation courses are structured to give you the opportunity to develop and practise the key exam skills around different academic topics each week, you can start at the beginning of any week.
