Assessment: Written assessment (SOLAS accreditation)
Accreditation: On full completion of this course each participant will receive a letter of course completion. They will also recieve a Safe Pass Card being sent out by SOLAS 4/6 weeks later.
Outline
Under the Health & Welfare at work Act 2005 all construction workers are bound by law to hold a valid Safe Pass card. The employer under section 10, 25 & 26 of Safety, Health & Welfare at Work Act, 2005 is responsible to allow employee’s time off from their duties to attend safe pass courses as may be reasonable having regard to their health and safety without loss of remuneration.
